Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://172.94.3.208/SOURCES/.WORLDBATH432/.bath/%5BY%5Ddifferences/X+differences/%5BX+%5Ddetrend-bfl/dods')
