Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://172.94.3.208/SOURCES/.NOAA/.NCDC/.ERSST/.version4/IOD+.C1983-2014+.iod/yearly-anomalies/T+integral/%5BT+%5Ddetrend-bfl/dods')
